Corrupted Background Images (v10)

Upon closing a job you get a error message that states:

and then another one

and maybe one more

After force quitting The EDGE, removing the job lock file and reopening the job, open the background image manager and click on the 22nd BGI (notice rowid =22 in the original error message)

That’s the confirmation that the BGI is corrupt. Now all we need to do is delete it.

If it is assigned to any pages, you will receive a message similar to the previous one. After swapping each occurrence with a good image, you will be able to delete the image. Before attempting to close the job, click on each image in the Background Image Manager and make sure you don’t receive any additional error messages, if you do, repeat the steps above. Once the corrupted images have been removed, you will be able to close the job.
