Tape Increment:

A series of preset and custom increments which allow the user to adjust the tape measure rounding. This is especially helpful when you are drawing without a blueprint. The EDGE Tape Increment dialog also has a place where the user can enter a custom tape increment.

To guide you in the drawing function, you can have a grid present in your drawing. This is helpful both in drawing straight lines, drawing exact lengths, etc. However, you can set the way the grid appears based on your individual preferences. If you would like the grid displayed, you will check the box next to Grid. You are asked to size the grid squares. To do this, enter length values for the X spacing and the Y spacing.
You can also set a Snap to angle. This will set the way your lines are drawn out from a given point.
Clicking the Properties icon () or pressing (F6) will open the Condition Properties dialog for the condition being quantified in the drawing screen as seen below. For this example a generic area condition was used.

General:

Depending on the condition the amount of information you see is directly dependent on the condition itself.
