Customize Columns | Fire Test DB

Overview:

To customize your database columns, select Edit | Customize Columns. Doing so will open a Customize list of headings that you have not included.

Added By – Who added the fire test.
Date Added – Date the fire test was added.
Fire Test – Enter in this field the UL Code or Manufacture Design number for the fire test. This is usually the test code taken directly from the fire resistance manual. It can also be a user created code i.e. a code based on thickness or W/D. Like the other EDGE databases there can only be one unique code for each fire test. No duplicates are allowed.
Formula 1, 2 – The fire test formula as it appears in the UL Manual™.
Hours 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 – Eight lines where the hours the shape has been tested for can be entered.
Manufacturer – Enter in this field the name of manufacture for the fire test.
Max Th 1, 2 – The maximum thickness allowed by the test. Entered in inches of mills.
Max WD 1, 2 – The maximum W/D for the test from the test.
Min Th 1, 2 – The minimum thickness required by the test. Entered in inches or mills.
Min WD 1, 2 – The minimum W/D for the test from the test.
Misc – A field for miscellaneous information.
Pipe WD – Check the box if you want to use the W/D for pipes and tubes.
Sec – Check this box if you want to use the shape as a secondary beam
Tube – Check the box if you want to use the W/D for pipes and tubes.
